Operators from the 73rd Maritime Centre of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces struck the enemy, destroyed a vehicle and seized drone equipment, radios, weapons and important documents.
This was reported by the Special Operations Forces on Telegram.
The troops breached enemy minefields and moved behind enemy lines on Russian territory. There, over several days, they conducted reconnaissance and identified targets for fire strikes.
While carrying out the mission, the special forces spotted Russian troops travelling in a vehicle. The operators reacted swiftly and delivered fire strikes.
Afterwards, they found drone equipment, radios, weapons and mobile phones in the vehicle. The haul also included combat orders, movement routes and lists of enemy personnel.
Following the successful ambush, operators from the 73rd Maritime Centre continued their mission behind enemy lines.
- Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces carried out the deepest strike on Russian territory since the start of the full-scale war. On 9 September, Ukrainian Deep Strike units hit two major enterprises in Russia’s gas condensate industry — the Novy Urengoy and Purovsky plants.
