‘White Angels’ evacuated 28 people from constant shelling in the village of Vyshchetarasivka in the Myrivska community of Nikopol district. Over the course of a month, they carried out five evacuation trips.

This was reported by the Communications Department of the Dnipropetrovsk Region Police.

They managed to rescue elderly residents, families, and two people with limited mobility who could no longer leave the dangerous area on their own.

Among those evacuated were 21 women and seven men aged between 37 and 88.

Police officers waited out the danger or changed routes because of enemy drones, including fibre-optic FPV drones.

Although the organised stage of the evacuation from the settlement had already ended in August, residents continued to submit requests and ask for help. Earlier, several hundred local residents had refused to leave their homes, but constant shelling and the lack of proper living conditions forced them to change their minds.

Along with the people, five dogs were evacuated to safe places. Among them were German Shepherds and small pets.

  • The Ukrainian delegation has already safely reached Oleshky, and the evacuation and distribution of humanitarian aid have begun. The ceasefire has now lasted for 80 hours and is continuing.
