On the night of 3 November, Russians attacked the south of Odesa Region, including a DTEK facility that has repeatedly come under fire over the past two months.
This was reported by DTEK, and written about by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
“At midnight, the enemy attacked a DTEK energy facility in the south of Odesa Region. The destruction is significant. Restoring the equipment will take time,” DTEK said, adding that power engineers began work as soon as it was safe.
According to Kiper, energy and civilian infrastructure in the south of the region was damaged as a result of new Russian attacks.
“A DTEK Odesa Power Grids facility has been seriously damaged. Over the past two months it has come under fire repeatedly. Extensive damage to energy equipment has led to disruptions to the electricity supply. Specialists are already working to deal with the aftermath,” the head of the Regional Military Administration said.
Administrative buildings, warehouses and production workshops at a food industry enterprise were also damaged.
There were no casualties.
