As a result of Russian strikes overnight on 6 November, power outages were recorded in seven regions of Ukraine. The situation remains most difficult in the Kyiv region, where grid restrictions remain in place due to damage to energy infrastructure.
The Ministry of Energy reported this.
New power outages were recorded in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions. Energy workers are repairing damaged facilities, but work has to be suspended during air raid alerts.
In most regions, hourly power outage schedules are in effect. For industrial consumers, power limitation schedules have been introduced.
The Ministry of Energy warns that, due to Russian attacks, the situation in the power system may change throughout the day.
