Over the past day, Russian forces attacked the Chernihiv region. In the Oster community, a 34-year-old woman was injured in a strike by a "Geran" drone. She was treated at the scene.
This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus.
As a result of the attack, a residential house caught fire. The home and an outbuilding were destroyed, and at least six other houses were damaged.
Russian forces also attacked a village in the Novhorod-Siverskyi community with "Molniia" drones. At least three explosions were heard there. A house and outbuildings were completely destroyed, and two more houses were damaged.
At night, a drone struck a business in the Horodnia community. As a result of the attack, timber caught fire.
Later, on the morning of 8 November, there was a strike in the Plyskiv community in the Nizhyn district. Residential houses were damaged there.
