The 1,719th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past day, 199 combat engagements were recorded.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Overall, over the past day Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 2,290 personnel. Two tanks, 14 armoured combat vehicles, 44 artillery systems, four air defence assets, six ground robotic systems, 1,337 unmanned aerial vehicles, four missiles, two operational-tactical missile systems, 461 vehicles and seven units of specialised enemy equipment were also destroyed.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out two missile strikes and 74 air strikes, during which it dropped 235 guided aerial bombs. The invaders used 7,557 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,369 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 18 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Enemy shelling hit the settlements of Rozhkovychi, Chuikivka, Bachivsk, Tovstodubove, Sukhodil, Kucherivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Smykalivka, Yastrubshchyna, Vovkivka, Bezsalivka, Otruba, Atynske, Volfyne, Pavlivka, Nova Korchakivka, Korchakivka, Kindrativka, Khotin, Nova Sich, Pysarivka, Oleksiivka, Mohrytsia, Luzhky, Khrapivshchyna, Myropillia, Neskuchne in Sumy Region; and Senkivka, Khrinivka, Yanzhulivka, Vyshenky in Chernihiv Region. Air strikes hit the settlements of Vilna Sloboda, Ivolzhanske, Chernechchyna, Tokari and Sumy.
Over the past day, the Defence Forces’ missile troops and artillery struck one enemy gun.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, over the past day the Defence Forces repelled four enemy attacks. The aggressor carried out nine air strikes, using 20 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 126 attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna axis, Ukrainian units repelled eight enemy attacks towards the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Radkivka and Okhrimivka, and in the areas of Vovchansk, Tsehelne and Vovchanski Khutory.
On the Kupiansk axis, the occupiers did not conduct assault operations.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman axis, where the occupiers carried out five attacks, towards Lyman and in the area of the settlement of Kolodiazi.
On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy carried out four attacks towards Pyskunivka and Mykolaivka, and in the area of the settlement of Ozerne.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy conducted one assault operation, attacking towards Mykolaivka.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, 23 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted offensive operations in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka and Vilne, and towards Mykolaipillia, Novopavlivka and Zolotyi Kolodiaz.
The enemy carried out nine attacks on the Pokrovsk axis. The occupiers tried to advance near the settlements of Novyi Donbas, Novohryshyne and Molodetske, and towards the settlements of Dobropillia, Serhiivka and Novopidhhorodne.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy did not conduct assault operations.
On the Huliaipole axis, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions three times. The enemy tried to advance towards the settlement of Kosivtseve and near Dobropillia and Mala Tokmachka.
On the Orikhiv axis, the occupiers carried out two attacks towards the settlements of Novopavlivka and Lukianivske.
On the Dnipro axis, the occupiers did not conduct assault operations.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
