Since the start of 7 November, 187 combat clashes have taken place along the frontline. Russian forces carried out the highest number of attacks on the Kostiantynivka axis, where Ukrainian troops repelled 14 assaults.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an operational update.
Over the course of the day, the Russians carried out one missile strike and 47 air strikes, dropping 152 guided aerial bombs. The occupiers also deployed 5,405 kamikaze drones and shelled населённые пункты and Ukrainian troop positions 1,897 times.
On the Kostiantynivka axis the Defence Forces repelled attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka and Vilne, as well as towards Mykolaipillia, Novopavlivka and Zolotyi Kolodiaz. One clash was still ongoing at the time the update was being prepared.
On the Pokrovsk axis the Russians attacked eight times near Novyi Donbas, Novohryshyne and Molodetske, as well as towards Dobropillia, Serhiivka and Novopidhorodne.
According to preliminary estimates, on this axis Ukrainian troops eliminated 31 occupiers and wounded another 21. They destroyed 11 vehicles, one piece of specialised equipment, three UAV control points and 22 shelters. A number of other targets and items of equipment were damaged, including a fuel and lubricants depot. They also destroyed or suppressed 283 Russian drones.
On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis the Russians attacked Defence Forces positions eight times towards Kozacha Lopan, Radkivka and Okhrimivka, as well as in the areas of Vovchansk, Tsehelne and Vovchanski Khutory. On the Lyman axis Ukrainian troops stopped five attempts by the enemy to advance towards Lyman and near Kolodiazi.
On the Sloviansk axis four attacks were repelled towards Pyskunivka and Mykolaivka and near Ozerne. On the Kramatorsk axis the Russians carried out one assault action towards Mykolaivka.
On the Huliaipole axis the Defence Forces repelled three attacks towards Kosivtseve, near Dobropillia and Mala Tokmachka. On the Orikhiv axis the occupiers attacked twice towards Novopavlivka and Lukianivske.
On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, Ukrainian troops repelled four attacks. The Russians carried out four air strikes there, dropped 12 guided aerial bombs and conducted 110 shelling attacks, including three uses of multiple launch rocket systems.
On the Kupiansk, Oleksandrivka and Prydniprovia axes, Russian forces did not conduct any assault actions.
