At present, the city’s bus fleet cannot cover all electric transport in the capital.

This was reported by Andrii Tkachov, acting head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

According to the official, municipal services respond quickly to transport stoppages, but there are not enough resources for all routes. In particular, a significant number of buses have been deployed to run in parallel with the green metro line, which is currently not operating via the Pivdennyi Bridge. Disruptions to the metro also occur due to voltage surges, so transport operators have to constantly adjust routes and redeploy buses.

Tkachov recalled that more than 1,500 Points of Invincibility are operating across all districts of Kyiv, 700 of which have been set up by responsible businesses. At these points, residents can warm up and charge their gadgets.

  • On the night of 7 November, Russia carried out a combined attack on Ukraine, using 172 strike drones and 36 ballistic missiles. The enemy directed all the missiles at Kyiv and Kyiv region. The main target once again was energy infrastructure.
  • Kyiv is facing a difficult situation with supplies of electricity, water and heating.
