The first evacuees from Oleshky, who were brought out of the occupied territory during a humanitarian mission, have completed treatment in hospitals and travelled to join relatives. Other displaced people continue to receive medical, social and psychological support.

This was reported on Telegram by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.

Those discharged were people who have relatives or acquaintances in territory controlled by Ukraine. Temporary accommodation options are being sought for others. Next week, the evacuees are expected to be helped to reach their chosen regions of Ukraine and settle there.

At the same time, state services are helping people to arrange the necessary documents and payments. In particular, staff from Kyiv’s Administrative Services Centre (CNAP) are coming to hospitals to issue certificates for internally displaced persons, and the Pension Fund is arranging subsistence support.

The evacuees were also provided with phones, clothing and hygiene supplies, and were helped to open bank cards and obtain passports and identification codes.

Lubinets added that people were also given additional financial assistance. The issue of ongoing care and accommodation for evacuees with limited mobility is being addressed separately.
