Two Ukrainian servicemen and one civilian have been released from separatist captivity in Donbas, President Petro Poroshenko has said on Facebook.

"Good news! Two servicemen and one civilian - Hryhoriy Zavizion, Petro Yeroshevych and Vadym Petrenko - have been released from captivity. Glory to Ukraine!" he said.

On 11 March, the trilateral contact group on a Donbas settlement failed to agree the exchange of prisoners in the "all for all" format. Negotiations on the matter are under way.
