Kyiv's Dniprovskyy district court on 8 July remanded Deputy Health Minister Roman Vasylyshyn to 60 days and granted him bail of 2m hryvnyas [0.08m dollars], the press secretary of the the prosecutor-general, Larysa Sarhan, has said.
If he deposits the bail, he will have to wear an ankle bracelet.
Vasylyshyn was detained in the early hours of 8 July on suspicion of setting up a bribe collection network. He is suspended for the period of investigation.
