Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and Indonesian Defence Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu have signed the agreement on defence cooperation between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Government of Indonesia in the presence of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and President of Indonesia Joko Widodo.

"This agreement will significantly broaden our opportunities for military and industrial, defence and logistics cooperation," Poroshenko said at a joint briefing with his Indonesian counterpart in Jakarta.

The president thanked Indonesian partners for for supporting the UN General Assembly resolution condemning the illegal annexation of Crimea and aggression against Ukraine on 19 March 2014, according to Poroshenko's website.
