Russian occupiers have stepped up fire attacks in Donbas. Since midnight, Ukrainian servicemen have registered 45 attacks on the ATO strongpoints, including five with the use of heavy artillery.
In the Mariupol sector, the enemy barraged the ATO positions near Hranitne with 152-mm guns and fired on Maryinka with 122-mm guns. Overall, the enemy has fired 80 shells. The ATO forces in Krasnohorivka, Vodyane, Maryinka and Talakivka faced enemy attacks. Near Shyrokyne, pro-Russian militants used an infantry fighting vehicle and near Chermalyk and Novohnativka grenade launchers. A sniper was operating in Maryinka, the ATO HQ said.
In the Donetsk sector, the day started with mortar fire on the ATO positions in Avdiyivka, Novoselivka-2, Luhanske, Kamyanka, Pisky and Semyhorye. The enemy fired with 122-mm artillery on the positions in Pisky. In the daylight, fire attacks continued in Zaytseve, Novoselivka-2, Novhorodske, Verkhnyotoretske and Avdiyivka.
In Luhansk Region, the enemy used 122-mm guns against Novooleksandrivka and Popasna. The militants repeatedly used mortars and grenade launchers to fire on Popasna. Grenades were predominantly used against Novooleksandrivka, Zolote, Stanytsya Luhanska and Krymske.
Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed and four wounded in the industrial zone of Avdiyivka, according to People's Front MP Yevhen Deydey.
