MP Anton Herashchenko, an adviser for the Ukrainian interior minister, has confirmed that a group of Ukrainian hackers, known as CyberJunta, has hacked the inbox of Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov.
"About hacking Vladislav Surkov's mail, it is true. The documents published online by CyberJunta are authentic," he said on Facebook.
It was earlier reported that the CyberJunta hacking group announced gaining access to the email correspondence of Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov. Among the emails, they found a plan of measures to destabilize the political and social situation in Ukraine and a document on plans to establish a republic in Transcarpathian Region.
