Since the beginning of the day, pro-Russian militants have launched 23 fire attacks on the positions of the antiterrorist operation (ATO) troops, wounding one Ukrainian serviceman, the ATO press centre has said on Facebook.
In the Mariupol sector, the militants fired with grenade launchers and small arms on Pavlopil, Hnutove, Novohryhorivka, Shyrokyne, Talakivka and Maryinka. Maryinka was also targeted with an infantry fighting vehicle.
In the Luhansk sector, they fired with 122-mm artillery on Troyitske, with 120-mm and 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers on Novozvanivka, and with an infantry fighting vehicle and heavy machine guns on Krymske.
In the Donetsk sector, the militants targeted ATO positions near Troyitske with 120-mm mortars. They fired with grenade launchers and small arms on Avdiyivka and Zaytseve. A sniper was active near Opytne.
On 10 January, one Ukrainian serviceman was killed and three were wounded in the ATO area.
