One Ukrainian serviceman killed, one wounded in east

Thirty attacks by pro-Russian militants were registered.

One Ukrainian serviceman has been killed and one wounded in the antiterrorist operation (ATO) area since the start of the day, the ATO HQ said in its evening update on Facebook.

"In the Mariupol sector, the Russian occupation troops fired with mortars on Vodyane, with small arms and grenade launchers on Pavlopil, Shyrokyne and Vodyane again. A sniper was targeting Talakivka," the update reads.

In the Donetsk sector, the militants fired with a tank on Pisky and the Butovka mine. The enemy fired with 120-mm and 82-mm mortars on Avdiyivka, Kamyanka, Luhanske and the Butovka mine, with grenade launchers and small arms on Luhanske, Novoluhanske and Zaytseve.

In the Luhansk sector, Popasna and Katerynivka came under fire from 120-mm mortars.

The ATO troops registered a total of 30 attacks by the militants.

On 25 February, four Ukrainian servicemen were wounded and one injured in the ATO area.
