The bodies of three Ukrainian servicemen killed on the Svitlodarsk salient on 2 May have been returned to the government-controlled territory, the press centre of the antiterrorist operation (ATO) HQ has said on Facebook.
"As part of the Evacuation 200 humanitarian project, the bodies of the three killed servicemen, who were rescuing their wounded colleague at the cost of their lives, were returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine," the statement reads.
It said that an operation to recover the bodies was launched the same day but militants kept delaying the transfer until it finally happened five days later.
