The monetary compensation to people's deputies for renting or hiring hotel rooms will increase from 1 September by 41%, to reach 650 hryvnya a day.
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Rules of Procedure and Organization of Work of Parliament approved on 13 July these proposals.
In 2016, 187 deputies who have no housing in Kyiv and are registered outside of the capital, received 29 million hryvnia from the state budget as compensation for housing rent.
