Two Ukrainian soldiers killed, four wounded
Donbas militants 23 times breached the ceasefire regime.
Over the past day, the situation in the area of the antiterrorist operation in Donbas has aggravated as the militants 23 times violated the ceasefire accord.
Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and four were wounded in action, ATO press center reported on Facebook on 19 July.
The situation was the most tense in the Donetsk sector. In the period from 17:50 to 22:00, the militants from the occupied Yasynuvata and Yakovlevka pounded the Ukrainian positions in the area of Avdiyivka from 120- and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. At about 21:00, the enemy twice used tanks to shell the ATO strong points in Krasnohorivka.
In the afternoon, the terrorists twice shelled residential areas of Avdiyivka. As a result, two civilians were wounded, and two servicemen were killed in the shelling attack of Zaitsevo and Nevelske.
In the Luhansk sector, the enemy used small arms to attack Ukrainian positions in the villages of Donets and Stanytsya Luhanska.
On 14 occasions, ATO forces returned using mainly small arms and heavy machine guns.
Recall, the leader of the "DPR" Oleksandr Zakharchenko said that the "DPR" and "LPR" create "the state of Malorossiya" with the capital in Donetsk and a "historical and cultural center" in Kyiv. Later, "LPR" leadership denied the statements.
Chief of Staff Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko called the idea of the "state of Malorossiya", announced by Zakharchenko "a figment of the sick imagination of the Russian puppet."
NSDCU Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov noted in a comment that such separatist statements are yet another argument in favor of the adoption of the law on de-occupation of Donbas.
