The President of France, Emmanuel Macron supported the idea to switch Russia off the SWIFT payment system.

"Right now I received a call from Emmanuel Macron. I have to say that he is a real friend of Ukraine. France is with us during the most difficult moments. The idea of switching off SWIFT, implementing personal sanctions against Putin and providing (Ukraine) with defense weapons is being supported. Merci la France”, - he wrote on his Twitter account.
