The Russian human rights activist Lev Ponomarev posted the petition to stop the war with Ukraine. The the news was drafted it has been signed by 627 th people. 

“We demand to cease fire with Ukraine and it’s immediate withdrawal from the territory of the sovereign state of Ukraine. We think that all who approved the decision to start the invasion in East of Ukraine, sanctioned aggressive and war-justifying propaganda in the Russian media dependent on the government are war criminals”, - is said in petition. 

Ponomarev announced the start of the anti-war movement in Russia and the support to all peaceful forms of anti-war protest, as well as called to all sin minded people to oppose the war. 

“Become the part of the anti-war movement, oppose the war. Do this at least for the sake to show the whole world, that there always has been and always be people, who won’t accept the will accept the meanness created by the State. That has turned the State and the people of Russia into tools of the crimes”,- said Lev Ponomarev. 

To recap, on February, 20th , the human rights activists Lev Ponomarev and Yuri Samodurov, who protested in Moscow against the war with Ukraine, were detained by police.
