The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba stated that "Ukraine is conducting an active offense on the diplomatic front."

Kuleba wrote on his Facebook page that the Council of Europe "despite attempts by some countries to slow down decisions" has deprived the Russian Federation of the representation in the Committee of Ministers and the PACE.

"For the first time in history, Russia was deprived of its vote in the Committee of Ministers," the Ukrainian Foreign Minister said.

Kuleba added that "Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Mayo assured me by phone that Italy would support Russia's disconnection from SWIFT."

"Mobile operators in Canada, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Slovakia, Northern Macedonia, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina have canceled charges for phone calls to Ukraine. Such a step is a manifestation of true solidarity with our state and its people, "the Ukrainian diplomat stressed.

Dmytro Kuleba highlighted that "Ukraine will remember every country, international organization, business, a person who did not turn away, did not express hypocrisy in the face, but stood side by side with Ukrainians at this critical time."

It will be recalled that today, February 25, the European Union's foreign ministers finally approved the second package of sanctions against Russia. Restrictive measures include freezing the assets of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, as well as a number of financial, technological, industrial, trade and travel bans.

It has also become known that Russia has been suspended from Eurovision - the European Language Union has announced that no Russian artist will take part in this year's song contest.
