Polish President Andrzej Duda spoke in favor of Ukraine's accelerated path to EU membership

Polska opowiada się za ekspresową ścieżką członkostwa Ukrainy w Unii Europejskiej. Status kandydata powinien być udzielony natychmiast, a rozmowy o członkowstwie rozpoczęte niezwłocznie po tym. Ukraina ma mieć też dostęp do środków z UE na odbudowę. To się Ukrainie należy.

"Poland supports the accelerated path of Ukraine's European Union membership. Candidate status should be granted immediately, and membership negotiations should begin immediately after that. Ukraine should also have access to EU funds for reconstruction. This belongs to Ukraine," Duda wrote.
On the morning of Saturday, February, 26th , President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called the European Union to support Ukraine by ensuring UA prospects to become EU member.
In response to Russia's brutal war, sanctions have been imposed and the Council of Europe has striped Russia of representation on the Committee of Ministers and the PACE.
