The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated statistics on the losses of Russian invaders in Ukraine. As of 20:00 on Saturday, the 26th of February.
Enemy's troops are demoralized, they experience the lack of fuel and food supplies.
The enemy is suffering significant losses," the General Staff informed.
In general, since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, the Russian army has lost:
16 planes
18 helicopters
approximately 100 tanks
15 heavy guns
1 anti-aircraft missile system "Buk"
approximately 540 military armored vehicles
In particular, a Russian Su-30 CM fighter was eliminated by an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the Black Sea.
In Ukraine the enemy has already lost more than 3,000 military personnel.
Also, the Russian occupiers are massively leaving the equipment and military vehicles and run away.
The General Staff emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are repelling the aggressor in all operational areas. The fighting spirit of Ukrainian soldiers is high.
Thus, in Polissia direction, the enemy's attack was stopped at the border of Borodianka, Bucha, and Vyshhorod. Enemy units have partially lost their combat capability.
In the Siverskyi region, the occupiers completed regrouping and continued the attack to block Kyiv. Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine restrain the invaders.
In Chernihiv region, Ukrainian defenders blew up an echelon that was transporting 56 tanks with diesel.
"The enemy keeps trying to take over the settlements in Slobozhansky operating area, moving from Belhorod to Starobilsk. In Volyn operating area, the enemy is performing demonstrative actions," - the statement says.
Due to the decisive rebuff of the Joint Forces, Russian Federation was unable to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
In the Southern direction, the enemy managed to reach the border of Skadovsk and Gola Prystan. The State Defense Forces, together with the Territorial Defense Forces, are fighting fiercely to prevent the enemy from getting positions on the left bank of Dnipro.
The General Staff addressed the volunteers of the Kherson and Mykolaiv Territorial Defense Units to resist the aggressor.
Russian special forces and saboteurs, acting against Geneva Conventions and the rules of warfare are using civilian infrastructure to cover their actions, the headquarters said.
