Ukrainian soldiers repulsed the Russian invaders’ attack on the Irpin city near Kyiv.

The mayor of Irpin, Oleksandr Markushyn stated it on Telegram.

“Good afternoon. Today is a very rough day for our community. Today the tanks came in Irpin from Bucha. With boys, we fought off, thank them very much. I want to appeal to you, stay home, do not leave your houses. The shelling continues; we keep Irpin”,- the city mayor said.

As he said, the support had come to the city. The mayor encourages the citizens to help older people who could stay without food.

“We are protected. Irpin is under the control of Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine”,-- added the mayor.

We remind that in Bucha, Kyiv region, the enemy hit the nine-storey residential building. 

The oil depot employees in Kriachky village near Vasylkove, where a fire broke out after a Russian enemy attack, have saved 15 cars of diesel fuel and 8 cars with gas.
