Columns of Russian troops repeatedly tried to storm the outskirts of Kyiv, but their movement was detained. The situation in the capital is currently under control. This was confirmed by the Commander of the Defense of Kyiv, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrsky.
"All attempts to achieve the goal by the Russian occupation forces have failed. Columns of the occupier's armored vehicles have been destroyed. The enemy has suffered significant personnel losses. Russian troops are demoralized and exhausted. We have shown that we know how to protect our home from uninvited guests," said the Commander of the Kyiv Defense KyivColonel-General Oleksandr Syrsky.
To recap, earlier the Armed Forces of Ukraine had reported that Kyiv Defense Troops had developed a thorough and multilevel system of protection of the capital.
