Almost all European and North American skies are already closed to Russian airlines. A total of 32 countries have closed their skies to the Russians.

The news was announced on the morning of 28 February by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.

"Russia was thrown out of the sky," he said.

Kuleba announced the closure of the sky for Russian aircraft by another country.

"Another significant country for Russia's wealthy people will also close soon," he added.

He did not specify which country it was.
