Germany is ready to accept all Ukrainian refugees who will seek asylum.

This was stated by German Minister of Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock at a press conference in Berlin, Ukrinform reports.

"We will accept all refugees ... When people suffer, we will help them," German Minister of Foreign Affairs stated.

She pointed out that the visa-free regime allows for a quick border crossing, as well as the possibility to stay in the country for 90 days.

"Ukraine is not alone, Europe is on the side of courageous Ukrainians," Baerbock said.

She stressed that Europeans are becoming more cohesive in the current situation.

"The war returned to Europe because one person wanted it, namely Vladimir Putin," said the German Minister of Foreign Affairs.

As reported, Germany has extended the visa-free travel period for Ukrainians for up to 180 days.
