Ukrainian food manufactures together with Ukrainian businesses will provide 1 million of vulnerable population with food kits.
This was announced by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Roman Leshchenko.
To this end, his ministry together with the Ministry of Social Policy has developed a plan to provide food for all those who need help during war time.
Dozens of manufacturers have already joined the initiative. The first trucks with food have already left for the capital and the settlements in the war zone. The products will be given to people with disabilities, elderly people living alone, large families, other people from less mobile categories and social institutions. Regional social services will ensure the listing of needs and delivery of products to recipients, "said the minister.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food called on all food manufactures to join the initiative.

As Roman Leshchenko said, the approximate list of foods includes various groats, cereals, ready-made breakfasts, pasta, meat, canned meat and vegetables, sugar, condensed milk, oil and various packed cookies.
