A "hotline" to support families, children and social workers will be launched in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Network for the Rights of the Child and UNICEF Ukraine are working on the project.

According to Olena Kholodenko, communications specialist at the Ukrainian Network for the Rights of the Child, the goal of the hotline is to provide informational support to families with children, refer those who can really help and accompany people in their problems.

The project plans to cover foster and adoptive families, family-type orphanages, families in difficult family circumstances, in particular, those raising a child with disabilities, as well as any family with children in need.

The hotline can be contacted by social workers, children's services workers and other staff who accompany families and care for children in boarding schools.

To support families, children and social workers, the project involves all-Ukrainian and regional community organizations, line ministries and agencies, as well as their representatives at the local level.

According to the Ukrainian Network for the Rights of the Child, a coordination headquarters has been established with offices throughout Ukraine.

The support line will be open daily from 8.00 to 20.00

The public union has published a list of hotline numbers:
