After the Russian air strike on Zhytomyr, the death of two people was confirmed, 16 were injured.
Such updated information as of 7 am was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS ).
"As of 07:00 on 2nd of March, the death of two people was confirmed, 16 were injured. 12 people were rescued, including 6 children, who were rescued from the basements of dilapidated private houses. Rescue operations are still underway," the statement said.
Reminding - this night the Russian army launched an airstrike on the military base of the 95th separate assault landing brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Zhytomyr .
Ammunition hit the private sector and the hospital.
