President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked civilians in Ukrainian villages and towns for their resolute resistance to the Russian occupiers. He stated this during his briefing.
"We are a nation that broke the enemy's plans in a week. The plans that have been built for years, that are vile and calculated with hatred towards our country, our people, any nation who are free and heartful. But we stopped them and beat them. Our military, our border guards, our territorial defense units, even ordinary farmers capture the Russian military every day and they all say one thing - they do not know why they are here," President stated.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also noted that the morale of the enemy is significantly deteriorating. More and more occupiers are fleeing back to Russia.
I sincerely admire the heroic civilians of Konotop, Bashtanka, Enerhodar, Melitopol and all other towns and villages that are fighting back. People line up in front of enemy vehicles. It is dangerous, but how courageous.
If Russian troops have entered the city, it is temporary. We will kick them out, like ordinary people, who kick the occupiers out the grocery stores when the Russian military is trying to find food. These are not warriors of the superpower. These are confused children who were used. Take them home.
Ukrainians! Every occupier shall be aware - they will not get anything here. Even if they send more technology and more people here, it will not change anything for them. Wherever they are, they will be destroyed everywhere. They shall not have peace here, they shall not have food here, they shall not have a single quiet moment here."
