Between 24 February and 1 March, 2022, the Russian invasion of Ukraine has affected 752 civilians, 227 of which have died. This was reported by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Ukraine on its Twitter page.
"From 24 February to 1 March, we have on record 752 civilian casualties in connection with Russia's military action against Ukraine: 227 were killed, including 15 children, 525 were wounded, including 28 children, mostly from shelling and air strikes. The real losses are much higher." - the message read.
The image attached to the publication states that this is the minimum number of victims of the Russian attacks.

We will remind you that earlier today the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies reported the death of more than 2000 civilians in the past seven days of war. The service later clarified that this is not accurate or definitive information: due to the significant intensity of shelling and fighting in many cities, rescue and search missions are still underway.
