This afternoon on the 2nd of March in Korosten, Zhytomyr region, an airstrike took place at a checkpoint. As a result of the shelling, four people were killed, the sourse Suspilne.Zhytomyr reports, referring to Korosten`s Deputy Mayor Natalia Chyzhevska.
The air attack took place at about 3 pm, as a result of the shelling, the transmission tower failed so the broadcast in the city stopped.
At first it was known about two dead and five wounded, the City hall later specified that four people were lost, including the civilian woman - the passenger of the car passing through the checkpoint. Five other victims are now in hospital.
The checkpoint in Korosten permit passes in five directions, on its defense there are militaries, polices and the terrorist defense officers.
A Reminder, in the evening on the 1st of March in result of the air attack on Zhytomyr the residential houses were damaged - four people were lost and 16 others were wounded.
