President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called "brilliant" the outcome of a meeting of the UN General Assembly, which adopted a resolution calling on Russia to withdraw troops from Ukraine and end the war.

He stated this in his video address.

"141 countries supported the resolution, which calls on Russia to withdraw from Ukraine immediately. Therefore, 141 states are on our side. Four countries supported Russia. Four states that voted against us are the following: North Korea, Eritrea, Syria, Belarus. This is the list. These are the friends," - said Zelenskyy.

"... And a state that does not know how to live in peace will not have any others, " the president added.

We want to remind you that the resolution demanding Russia to withdraw troops from Ukraine and stop the war was supported by 141 states. Another five opposed, and 35 countries abstained. Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Syria, and Eritrea opposed it. Commenting on the meeting results, Zelenskyy said that "a global anti-Putin coalition has been formed and is functioning."

"I am grateful to everyone and every state that supported the resolution. You have chosen the right side of history," said the President of Ukraine.
