As of 23:59 on the 3rd of March, most of the groups created by the occupiers to attack Ukraine have already entered the country. This was reported in the operational summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"According to available data, the enemy has brought most of the group created to attack Ukraine into Ukrainian territory. Out of 117 completed and equipped BTGs (Batallion Tactical Groups), no more than 6 remain outside the territory of our country; the moral and psychological state of these units is low, " it was reported by the General Staff.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also noted that Russia has already used almost all of its “Caliber” missile ammunition and needs time to replenish supplies. The occupying forces continue to violate international humanitarian law by targeting residential buildings.
The General Staff noted that the occupiers are holding off from landing in Odessa and Zatoka, instead choosing to carry out mock maneuvers in order to draw out part of the Armed Forces in this direction.
Also during the day, Russian forces were unable to make significant advances. During another unsuccessful attempt to seize Gostomel for example, they encountered Ukrainian defenders and lost around 20 equipment units during the battle, the loss of personnel is yet to be confirmed.
