The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has presented 15 servicemen who defended Ukraine from the aggression of the Russian Federation with “Hero of Ukraine” award.
The president stated this in his video appeal.
Today, I signed a decree to grant the title of Hero of Ukraine to 15 our defenders ", - said Zelenskyy.

Senior Lieutenant Bilokonj Maksym Vitalijovych (posthumously). He took part in repelling the enemy's attack during the defense of Chernihiv. Destroyed the enemy's RSG and two enemy tanks;

Lieutenant Colonel Kapichun Oleksandr Valerijovych (posthumously). Thanks to his heroic deeds, the enemy column was stopped. Destroyed military equipment and enemy’s troops;

Soldier Luk'janovych Oleksandr Volodymyrovych (posthumously). During the battle he neutralized up to 30 pieces of enemy equipment. As a result of the air strike he was mortally wounded;

Junior Sergeant Nessoljnyj Mykhajlo Mykhajlovych (posthumously). Died in close combat with enemy forces while evacuating civilians;

Soldier Nikonchuk Andrij Valerijovych (posthumously). Defended the Kyiv HPP from missile strikes and enemy aircrafts’ strikes;

Lieutenant Sapylo Vitalij Romanovych (posthumously). Tank platoon commander. Neutralized 30 pieces of enemy equipment. Died from an air strike;

Chief Sergeant Synjuk Oleksij Oleksandrovych (posthumously). He defended Chernihiv. Destroyed two enemy BMPs and captured a T-72 tank. Died from an air strike;

Lieutenant Ukrajinecj Vladyslav Petrovych (posthumously). He covered his unit’s retreat during enemy's attack;

Major Chaban Stepan Ivanovych (posthumously). SU-27 pilot. Distracted enemy aircraft fire over Kropyvnytskyi;

Major Mykhaljchuk Ighor Vasyljovych. Tank’s battalion unit commander. Destroyed numerous enemy armored vehicles;

Colonel Musijenko Andrij Mykolajevych. Missile troops and artillery division commander. Inflicted devastating strikes on the enemy in Kharkiv direction;

Lieutenant Paljchenko Jevghen Mykhajlovych. Tank platoon commander. Covered brigade’s breakout from the encirclement;

Major Prokopenko Vladyslav Jurijovych. Tank battalion commander. Broke from the encirclement without losses in personnel and equipment;

Lieutenant Colonel Fedosenko Pavlo Jurijovych. 92nd brigade’s unit Commander. For Kharkiv’s efficient defense;

Senior Lieutenant Chavalakha Dmytro Petrovych. For heroic participation in the defense of the Kherson region.
