The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, announced on Facebook that Ukraine's air defence shot down a Russian Su-30 aircraft over Irpin.
"We have just shot down a Russian Su-30 aircraft over Irpin. The calculation of the air defense system has worked out perfectly," he wrote.
As of the morning of 3 March, the enemy had lost more than 9,000 troops, 217 tanks, and 900 armoured combat vehicles.
For total resistance to the Russian invaders, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov called on citizens to destroy the rear columns of the aggressor, which follow the equipment convoy.
