In one village of the Trostyanets' community (Sumy region) seized by the Russian occupiers, Russian tanks are parked near almost every yard on the main street and in the adjacent ones.
This news was announced in the Telegram by the head of Sumy Region Military Administration (RMA), Dmytro Zhyvytskyy.
“The Russian army has created a human shield from the villagers made to protect the deployed S-300 system,” said in the statement.
According to Zhyvytskyy, the RMA is constantly working on organizing 'green' corridors to evacuate civilians from all over the district.
It is worth mentioning that the S-300 Ground Force Air Defense System, depending on the specific type of installation and interceptor missiles, can operate at 150, 200, 300 kilometers. They are designed to cover the troops directly near the enemy, primarily from ballistic missiles and aircraft and various other purposes.
Zhyvytskyy also noted that Russian aircraft keep bombing Okhtyrka's infrastructural and critical facilities.
On March 4 in Okhtyrka in the Sumy region, rescuers pulled out a woman from under the rubble of combined heat and power (CHP) and handed over to doctors. Okhtyrka CHP was destroyed as a result of air bombardment by Russian fighters.
