The United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with additional 100m dollars of assistance to stabilize its economic situation due to the war with Russia, as reported by Her Majesty's Government.
"Great Britain is allocating an additional 100m dollars directly to Ukraine's state budget to decrease the financial pressure caused by Russia's unprovoked and illegal invasion," the statement said.
This grant can be used to support public sector wages, as well as social protection and pension systems for the Ukrainians. The grant will be provided through the World Bank.
In addition, it is reported that on Monday, the Prime Minister of Great Britain will meet with the leaders of Canada, Justin Trudeau, and the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, to discuss the situation in Ukraine.
