The Russian occupiers plan to involve the most capable units in the onslaught of Kyiv. The list: the Ramzan Kadyrov Rosguard (Groznyi), the 27th Special Unit of Kuzbass (Kemerovo), the 604th Rosguard Special Center "Vytiaz" (Moscow), and the private military company Liga (former PMC Wagner). These facts are informed in the night summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is also reported that the enemy continues the attack. But the psychological state of the Russian military is low, as they are demoralized by heavy losses, both in personnel, military vehicles, and equipment.
The current situation is as follows:
Polissia direction - individual enemy units concentrated in the areas of settlements Poliske, Kukhari, Borodianka, Byshiv, Horenychi, Demydov.
Byshiv direction (Kyiv region) - the enemy maneuvered up to two BTGs (battalion tactical groups) and is trying to move on.
Tarasivshchyna and Rakivka direction (Kyiv region) - the enemy started to force the Irpin River in the Rakivka area but suffered significant losses in personnel, military vehicles, and equipment lost part of the attack potential and was stopped.
Seversky direction - the enemy is conducting an attack operation to block Chernihiv and get ready for the attack on Sumy.
Slobozhansk direction - the enemy focuses its primary efforts on the directions of Kaniv and Novomoskovsk. It was stopped and is trying to restart the attack on Severodonetsk. The enemy is conducting regrouping and preparation for the onslaught of Sumy. In an attempt to seize the city of Izyum, the occupiers suffered losses and withdrew. However, the Russians started to terrorize the city, shelling houses and infrastructure.
Donetsk direction - the occupiers continue the attack on Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia, trying to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk region. There were attempts to break through the defense near Volnovakha and Mariupol.
Tavriia direction - the enemy concentrates its efforts during the attack on Mykolayiv, Voznesensk, Zaporizhzhia, Melitopol, and Mariupol. The invaders are regrouping their troops. In the Pivdennobuzk operational area, the Ukrainian military stopped occupants while they were approaching Mykolaiv.
As previously reported, according to operative data of the General Staff, the total personnel losses of the enemy from 24 February 2022 to 6 March 2022 reached approximately 11,000 people.
