Most Russian generals do not want to continue the war against Ukraine as in two weeks, Russian troops have suffered losses that they have never suffered before.
This was stated by the Head of the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR MOU), Kyrylo Budanov, on a joint broadcast of Ukrainian TV channels.
He said that in Russia only President Vladimir Putin, and the Minister of Defense, Serhiy Shoihu, want to continue the war, while the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces is against it. "Some of them are more active than others, some are just silent, sometimes they may even sabotage some orders of the Russian leaders," added the Head of the HUR. However, Kyrylo Budanov emphasized that Ukrainian intelligence is aware of almost all the plans of the aggressor. "As soon as ideas are born in big offices, we know about them immediately. Therefore, I repeat, any attempts to seize Ukraine by military means will fail," he said.
According to the Head of HUR of the Ministry of Defense, Russians prepare certain provocations in the territory of Chernobyl. Particularly, the occupiers could either set fire to radioactive forests or launch artillery fire at a nuclear depot.
