Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross Emergency Response Team have evacuated more than 2,000 people from the Kyiv Region. The evacuation was carried out jointly with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine officers, Bucha Emergency Medical Service and local authorities.
About 1,200 people were evacuated from the settlements of Mykulychi and Nemishayevo, and close to 1,000 people were evacuated from Bucha, including one seriously injured person. The volunteers also evacuated 40 elderly people from a geriatric boarding house who could not move on their own.
On March 11, during an attempt of evacuation from the village of Peremoha to the village of Gostroluchcha in the Kyiv region, Russian occupiers shot dead a column of civilians consisting of only women and children.
