Authorities banned journalists from entering Irpin, Kyiv region after the occupiers fired at American journalists.
The Mayor of Irpin, Oleksandr Markushin, published the relevant information.
"As of today (13 March), we are banning journalists from entering Irpin. We want to save both their and our defenders' lives in this way," Markushin said.
The mayor also called on all media representatives and citizens not to post photos of our servicemen, their equipment or anything that would indicate their location on social networks.
"It is vital!" the mayor summed up.
On 13 March in Irpin near Kyiv, the Russian occupiers killed the American journalist Brent Renaud. His colleague was injured.
