Ukrainian Cultural Fund (UCF) will allocate its budget for grants - 583 million hryvnias - to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was the announcement by UCF Press services.
According to the Act of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 245, dated March 10, 2022, the amount of 583.281 million hryvnias will be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fulfill the needs for resistance against aggression from the Russian Federation. The money was supposed to be spent on various cultural and art projects in 2022.
As a result, issuance of grants in 2022 was halted until the ultimate victory over Russian occupation forces.
More than 11.3 billion hryvnias were transferred to the special account to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of March 11.
