More than 160 cars were able to leave Mariupol through the humanitarian corridor

The evacuated residents have already passed Berdyansk and continue to move towards Zaporizhzhia, the Mariupol City Council said.

More than 160 cars were able to leave Mariupol through the humanitarian corridor

The Mariupol City Council stated in its Telegram that as of 01:00 pm on 14 March, more than 160 private cars managed to leave Mariupol, using the highway to Berdyansk.

"Mariupol residents followed the route: Mariupol (exit towards the village of Melekine) - the village of Portivske - Manhush - Berdyansk - Tokmak - Zaporizhzhia. As of now, Mariupol residents, who drove their cars, have already passed Berdyansk and continue to move in the direction of Zaporizhia," the mayor's office said.

Authorities in Mariupol said that the sides were following the ceasefire during the established humanitarian corridor.

On 14 March, the President's Office named the routes of humanitarian corridors to evacuate the population from the Russian-occupied settlements of Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk regions.
