Russian invaders are spreading false information about the situation in Mariupol - they say it is already under Russian control.
The Adviser to Mariupol City Mayor, Petro Andriushchenko, announced this on Facebook.
"They are massively spreading that "Ministry of Defense of Russia: Mariupol unblocked. Swat team eliminated the main forces of nationalist troops on the positions in the residential areas around the city. Humanitarian corridors have been opened since 15:00, and a mass evacuation of the population has begun." We have the only comment: "F*ck them, they are not getting Mariupol!" - Andriushchenko emphasized.
He said that the UAF (Armed Forces of Ukraine) are holding back the occupiers.
Andryushchenko urged not to trust the aggressor.
"Don't believe the Russians: information is a weapon. And that's how they try to attack us. It didn't work out ..." - added the Advisor to the Mayor.
In one of the intercepted conversations, aggressors reported that during one day near Mariupol, they lost 700 people.
The bombing of the Russian Federation killed 2,187 residents of the city.
