About 600 houses have been destroyed in Kharkiv due to constant shelling by Russian troops. This was declared by the mayor of the city Igor Terekhov.

According to the Kharkiv mayor, these houses are not subject to restoration, so people have actually lost their homes. Also in Kharkiv, 50 schools and a number of medical institutions were bombed, including maternity hospitals.

"We have to relocate, transport people, deliver aid. We also organize hot meals, provide people with medicines, including insulin. We are monitoring the situation in the city," the mayor said.

According to him, the main task now is to save people's lives and end the war. The mayor of Kharkiv called to close the sky over Ukraine and stop the bloodshed.

The National Guard who hold defense of Kharkiv said that the suburbs of the city were difficult to recognize.
