Defence forces have liberated Andriyivka in the Sumy sector and managed to stabilise the left flank.

This was reported by Deep State analysts.

According to the analysts, the 225th Separate Armed Forces Unit managed to take control of the village after prolonged fighting and mopping-up operations by Russian forces. “These actions managed, firstly, to divert forces from other villages, as the enemy had bitten into Andriyivka. Secondly, they managed to stop further advance to the important settlements of Khotyn and Pysarivka.”

“The 225th Brigade remains one of the few units capable of carrying out successful offensive actions. At the same time, those who understand the realities know that the losses of the 225th are much lower,” Deep State analysts say.

An armoured unit of the 110th Separate Mechanised Brigade was brought to the village to reinforce it.

  • The Russian Federation has concentrated about 50,000 troops in the North Slobozhanskyy direction. Active operations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kursk Region have disrupted the Russia’s plans for an offensive.
