Lviv schools are back to online classes. More than 67,000 Lviv children and almost 1,000 children from families who have moved there from different parts of Ukraine have registered for school as of today.

This was announced on Facebook by Lviv City Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

"More than 200,000 people came to Lviv today from all over the country. Yet the city continues to function. About 500 educational, cultural, and sports institutions host temporarily displaced people -he said. More than a million dollars a day is the cost of living for all the people who have moved."

According to him, the city needs to quickly build large mobile centers with appropriate conditions and financial support to run them.

"We in Lviv find the funds for all this on our own, using our internal resources. But we need the support of international organizations, "said Lviv City Mayor.

He also noted that yesterday's explosions at the Yavoriv proving ground were most heard in Poland and the European Union.

"And what will happen if the missile hits the territory of the EU?" We need air defense systems and fighters aircraft here. We need these decisions immediately, - said Andriy Sadovyi. - War in the 21st century means speed. And every politician who debates, not acts, takes personal responsibility for it. "

Lviv City Mayor also said that the crime rate in Lviv had dropped to zero.
